Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

A life lived for Jesus (or not) determines your eternal destiny. We cannot be complacent in telling others about Jesus. You may be the one God has chosen to bring the reality of Jesus to you friends and family that don’t know Him.

Death forever seals your soul’s destination for eternity. Live every day as though it were your last because someday it will be.

Do you know Jesus, the only way to eternal life? If you don’t know Him, please let me introduce you!

In Matthew 5:3-12, Jesus shares some principles by which believers are to live. With each of the principles He also stated the reward that accompanied living by that principle.

-Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (Those that see themselves as sinners and who need and ask God’s forgiveness)

-Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. (Those that mourn over their sin, turning to Jesus and His sacrifice to overcome sin)

-Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. (Those who put aside pride who seek the Lord’s will in all they do and live in the strength the Lord gives)

-Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. (Those that seek God’s truth and reject sin in their lives. Righteousness means to be right. Right in one’s belief and in their relationship to God. It means living according to the faith presented in the Bible)

-Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. (Those that show grace to others as the Lord shows grace to those who believe in Him)

-Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. (Those that by simple faith in Jesus Christ have believed and receive forgiveness of their sins and the gift of eternal life. The pure in heart are those God has saved and imparted righteousness meaning unmerited favor)

If you love me, keep my commandments (John 14:15)

There are so many “Christians” today doing whatever they want to and proudly proclaiming how much they love God. Many have no idea what God expects from us as Christians.

Did you know there are 613 commandments in the Bible? How do you know what to do and not to do if you do not read the word of God?

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)

Get into the word of God, attend a Bible study at your church, read and seek knowledge. Knowing what God requires of you will help you to become a better Christian and servant to others. It will also provide comfort in every situation.

If you don’t know Jesus today, please let me introduce you.

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD(Psalm 150:6)

Whether you are on the mountain top or in a valley, in good or poor health, rich or broke, whole or broken…praise God!

God inhabits the praise of His people (Psalm 22:3) so if God is with you, your condition of hurt, sorrow, illness, financial issues are only lessons because He will see you through. Just keep praising God! In all things give praise! You can’t stay distraught when you’re praising God from your heart.

If you don’t know Jesus today, please let me introduce you.

You may be wondering if the prayers you’re praying for your lost family and friends are effective. Does God hear you? Will He change them when the ones you’re praying for continue going their own way? Can your prayers outweigh their defiance?

YES, YES, and YES!

God saved Lot from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah because of Abraham’s prayers.

“And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.” Genesis 19:29

Keep praying for them. Keep believing for them. When we hold up our lost friends and loved ones before God, He will hear us and He will save them as he saved Lot because of Abraham’s prayers.

For I am the LORD, I change not
Malachi 3:6 King James Version

God does not change because sinners tell us He should. God doesn’t change based upon elections, dictators, politicians or rulers. God does not change because you don’t like the way He does things. God DOES NOT CHANGE!

God will change you, however, if you ask. Amazing how when you get in line with God, you no longer think God should change.

Sin that was sin in the beginning will be sin at the end of time. God will be God and you will be judged based upon everything that is in His Holy Word.

Christianity has many facets, but they are all reliant upon one clear, singular truth… Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who became God incarnate, lived a sinless life, became the sacrifice for all sin AND rose again conquering death, hell and the grave.

Without salvation, religion fails to meet the requirement of reconciliation with God. Thank you Jesus for paying my debt. If you don’t know Jesus, please let me introduce you.

Dirty mouth or dirty heart?

James 3:9-11

9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening?

As Christians, it is important to be examples in everything we do and say. When you say hurtful things, curse or spout off in anger, you weaken your Christian walk to those witnessing it.

Our mouth speaks from our heart (Matthew 12:34), so the lack of control is more of a heart condition than a mouth problem. Get into the word and get your heart healthy, then your tongue will follow along.

If you don’t know Jesus, please let me introduce you.

Integrity: one of the few things in life that cannot be taken from you, you choose to give it away or hold on to it for dear life.

My dad taught me this throughout my life. As a Christian I see this as being one of the most important tethers to our faith and how the world views us as Christians. If you say you are going to do something…do it at any cost. Christians whether janitor or Pastor and anywhere in between are watched by those around you. If you cannot keep your word, try not speaking.

The word tells us in James 1 that a double minded man is unstable in ALL of his ways. Be stable in your faith. Be stable in your walk with God. Be stable in your emotions and reactions and above all be stable in your relationship with Jesus! He will see you through all of life’s problems. If you don’t know Jesus, please let me introduce you.

Promises, promises, promises. If you’ve ever made promises, chances are you’ve broken a few, whether intentionally or unintentionally. God cannot lie! His promises are eternal and He keeps His promises.

Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Isaiah 40:29 “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. “

John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Trust in God…He cannot fail you. He is our provider, physician, friend, redeemer and savior. He wants a relationship with you. All you have to do is invite Him into your heart and turn from sin. If you don’t know my Savior, I’d be happy to introduce you.
